Speaker: Karolina Heyduk, Assistant Professor, University of Connecticut

“I received my bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, and my PhD in plant biology from the University of Georgia in 2015. Afterwards I stayed at UGA for a brief postdoc, then was a Donnelley Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University. I was an assistant professor at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa from 2020 to just last year, and started as an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut. I am also Director of the George Safford Torrey herbarium.”
