This research includes training the next generation of vertical farmers and growing diverse wild germplasm of the superfood watercress in these exacting conditions. Watercress is the most nutrient-dense leafy green on the planet, and in addition to being packed full of vitamin C, also has a peppery chemical that is known to have anti-cancer properties. Learn how growing indoors provides an opportunity to produce this food crop in clean and highly sustainable conditions with a 90% reduction in water and land requirements. In addition, we show how these conditions can help to enhance cancer busting chemicals. |
