The 2019-2020 academic year marks the 50th anniversary of Native American Studies at UC Davis, on the lands of Patwin-Wintun peoples. This display highlights this interdisciplinary department’s foundations, growths and scholarships since its inception — including its hemispheric approach to research conducted by, for and with Native communities throughout the Americas — and ends with current faculty, staff and students (re)imagining the futures of Native American Studies at UC Davis.
