This event will feature discussant Karen Smith, MD, MPH, director of the California Department of Public Health and state public health officer. The panel includes Dr. Lynn Silver, MD, MPH, FAAP, a pediatrician and Senior Advisor at the Public Health Institute (PHI) and Clinical Professor at UC San Francisco and Dr. Daniel Sumner, Director of the University of California Agricultural Issues Center (AIC). This panel discussion, which is co-sponsored by UCCS and by the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP) at the UC Office of the President, will address the implications of cannabis regulation on several fronts.
