UC Davis Forums on the Public University and the Social Good

Sociologist Adam Gamoran, president of the William T. Grant Foundation, will lay out a strategy for universities to incentivize partnerships between researchers and public agencies or private nonprofit organizations, for the purpose of fostering research on pressing problems of the day and benefiting society.
