This new series starts with a program on reducing food waste. Speakers: Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, who ensured that the 2018 Farm Bill included provisions to reduce waste; and Edward Spang, assistant professor of food science and technology and founding faculty member of the UC Davis Food Loss and Waste Collaborative.
