Johnston Busingye, minister of justice and attorney general of the Republic of Rwanda, will discuss the collective memory of genocide with a specific focus on genocide denial and international arrest warrants in the aftermath of genocides, as well as Rwanda’s collaboration with the international community in the nation's efforts to bring those involved in the1994 genocide against Tutsi to justice to end impunity.

The discussion will also explore what he has worked on in the past and what new options can be developed to make efforts of post-genocide governments more effective.

Moderated by Grant T. Harris, chief executive officer of Harris Africa Partners LLC and former White House senior director for Africa in the Obama administration.
