David Ackerly, dean of the College of Natural Resources, UC Berkeley, drawing on his studies aimed at better predicting the long-term impacts of climate change and fire on California oak landscapes, will address “Recovery and Resilience of Oak Woodlands Following the October 2017 Tubbs Fire.”
His talk will follow the opening reception of the ninth International Oak Society Conference, hosted by UC Davis, Oct. 21-24.
