Like to eat? Thank a bee! Pollination is needed for about one-third of our food crops. This open house at the Häagen-Dazs Honey Bee Haven is for all ages. Activities include:

  • Learn to observe and identify bees in flight
  • Catch bees and observe them up-close
  • See honeybees at work in the hive
  • Learn about low-water plants that help bees

Bee houses and hard-to-find, easy-to-grow bee plants will be available in return for donations in support of the garden (cash only).
