Lydia R. Diamond’s powerful dramatization of Toni Morrison’s literary classic about the destructive power of racism. This innovative production features life-size puppets portraying Morrison's characters, voiced and manipulated by a company of 15 student actors. Contains adult themes and situations; recommended for ages 16 and up.

  • Thursday, May 17 — 7 p.m. (post-show talk-back with Maxine Craig, professor and chair, Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies, UC Davis
  • Friday, May 18 — 7 p.m. (post-show talk-back with Debra DeAngelo, journalist/columnist/blogger and equality activist
  • Saturday, May 19 — 2 and 7 p.m.
