Speaker: Kevin B. Chen, who has been involved in the Bay Area arts community for more than two decades as a curator, writer and visual artist. He has been a lecturer in art at Stanford University since 2016 and San Francisco State University since 2017, and served as an adjunct professor at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco, in the summer of 2017. He recently served as co-chair of the city of Oakland's Public Art Advisory Committee, and he managed the artist residency and public programs at the De Young Museum, San Francisco.

Note: Chen replaces Raymond Meeks, who had been announced as the speaker for June 7; he will be rescheduled as part of next year's Visiting Artist Lecture Series.
