On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of civil rights leader's assassination, the School of Law — housed in Martin Luther King Jr. Hall — will host a panel discussion on the civil rights movement and higher education. With Angela Harris, law professor, UC Davis; Rahim Reed, associate executive vice chancellor, Campus Community Relations, UC Davis; and Kim Waldon, president, King Hall Law Students Association. Students from the UC Davis-affiliated Sacramento Area Youth Speaks (SAYS) will begin the program with spoken word performance. Lunch provided.
