Pitzer Center's Recital Hall, featuring phenomenal acoustics — perfect to hear Bernstein's work. The 1961 movie, derived from the Broadway play, which was based on Romeo and Juliet, tells the love story of Tony and Maria amid two warring street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, in New York City in the mid-1950s.
