Growing scientific evidence shows that eating too much added sugar over time is linked to health problems including serious chronic diseases. Three nutrition and disease experts — Nancy Keim, adjunct professor, Department of Nutrition, UC Davis; Laura Schmidt, professor of health policy, UCSF; and Kimber Stanhope, researcher in molecular biosciences, UC Davis School Veterinary Medicine — share the unsweetened truth about sugar and the human body. Lunch will be provided.
