Chinese traditional painting involves essentially the same techniques as calligraphy and is done with a brush with black ink. The depth is expressed by dark and light tones. You will learn such techniques as brush control, and the delicate balance of ink and water. You will learn how to paint bamboo, orchid, panda, insects, landscape, etc.

This is a series of classes, with each class building upon the previous week's lesson. Your registration is for the entire series that runs every Monday, Jan.15-March 12.
