Speaker: Marianne Bitler, professor, Department of Economics, UC Davis, who also does research at the National Bureau of Economic Research and IZA (Institute of Labor Economics). She will address a number of food assistance, early human capital and health programs, including Medicaid (MediCal), food stamps (CalFresh), WIC (Women, Infants and Children) and Head Start.
