The Global Health Internship programs provide students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience engaging in clinical rotations and working with local communities on public health-based projects. Participants in these programs will grow to understand health and healthcare practices and disparities through the lenses of the local medical practitioners.

Students participate in 30 – 35 hours per week of clinical rotation, and each program is centralized around a major theme throughout the five weeks. Participants learn about efforts in addressing health care challenges through local rotations, outreach and public health education initiatives, by working closely with local medical practitioners and healthcare teams, rotating through a variety of hospitals, clinics and NGOs. Through immersion in homestays and site visits, students will gain insight into how culture and local resources affect healthcare approaches and access across the globe.

Come learn about which program is right for you!
