Renee Pualani Louis will discuss her book Kanaka Hawaii Cartography: Hula Navigation and Oratory. She lives in Hilo, Hawaii, while working for the Institute for Policy and Social Research, University of Kansas, and is co-chair of the Indigenous Peoples Specialty Group of the American Association of Cartographers.
