Cuban writer and critic Aida Bahr gives a talk, "Gender and Violance in Cuba." Bahr is the author of the award-winning Ofelias/Ophelias and other short story collections, novels, screenplays and books of literary criticism. She has been a pioneer in publishing fiction in Cuba that looks at women's lives from female points of view.

Bahr will speak in Spanish, but questions can be addressed in English or Spanish.
