In Chinese art, the "Four Gentlemen" refer to the plum blossom, the orchid, the bamboo and the chrysanthemum plant. Each "gentleman" represents a season, and this workshop gives an introduction to the fall's "gentleman": the chrysanthemum. The workshop consists of a minilecture and hands-on practice. You will practice easy-to-follow instructions on how to make beautiful chrysanthemums, using vegetables, so that you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.

Two food garnishing workshops are scheduled this quarter: Fridays, Oct. 13 and Nov. 3, both from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Third-Flood Conference Room, International Center.

Please register here for Nov. 3.
