UC Center Sacramento Fall Speaker Series

Sasha Abramsky, lecturer, University Writing Program; author (Jumping at Shadows and The American Way of Poverty: How the Other Half Still Lives); and freelance journalist. He will explore food-insecurity policy solutions that are being discussed and in some cases implemented, with an eye toward the obstacles to achieving food security given other stressors on the economic and political systems.
