Study Abroad in your Major for Academic Advisors: FAQs, Tools, and Case Studies!

The advisors at UC Davis Study Abroad have a common goal with departmental and college advisors: we want to see students succeed academically, both on campus and abroad. If you have questions like, can students spend their Senior Year or final quarter before graduation on a study abroad program? Can students participate in more than one study abroad program while they are at UC Davis? Can students receive GE credit for courses taken on UCEAP? Can Transfer Students study abroad? What are the eligibility requirements for study abroad? Can students take their financial aid on their study abroad programs? In this session we will answer these questions and share web tools on the Study Abroad website that are designed for advisors. Jennie and Christina will share case studies showing how graduation plans for various majors can integrate international education into the regular course of study for transfer and four-year students.

Coffee and light refreshments provided.
