UC officials invite all members of the university community to reflect on the U.S. Constitution on the day of its signing 230 years ago. Read message from UC President Janet Napolitano.

The fall quarter has not yet begun at UC Davis, so the campus does not have a Constitution Day event, but, on Monday, Oct. 16, the School of Law will present its eighth annual Central Valley Foundation/James B. McClatchy Lecture on the First Amendment. This year’s speaker and his topic: Eugene Volokh, distinguished professor of law, UCLA, “Libel and Invasion of Privacy in the Internet Age.” See separate calendar entry.
