Hear from graduate students who have participated in international development experiences, via three campus programs. The event will include brief presentations on how to apply, a question-and-answer session and lunch.

Opportunities featured:

Trellis Fund (Horticulture Innovation Lab) — Graduate students partner with organizations in developing countries as consultants on horticulture projects, with 2 weeks of travel. Apply by Oct. 27, 2017. 

Research and Innovation Fellowships for Agriculture (RIFA) — 2-6 month fellowships for graduate students on agriculture and food systems in developing countries. Applications close in February 2018. Immediate opportunities in the Brazilian Amazon.

UC Davis Blum Center grants — Travel, research or hands-on fieldwork grants available for graduate students and undergraduate students. Application deadlines in February and March 2018.
