Melissa Mack and Eric Sneathen are graduates of the UC Davis Creative Writing Program.

Mack is author of The Next Crystal Text (2017) and her writing has appeared in the journals Elderly, Try!, With+Stand and anthologies Catechism: Poems for Pussy Riot and What We Want: A List of Our F****** Demands.

Eric Sneathen’s most recent publication is the chapbook Snail Poems. His writing has been published in Mondo Bummer, The Equalizer 2.0 and Gay Annals of Sexuality. He edits the Bay Area literary magazine Macaroni Necklace.

The 2017–2018 Creative Writers series at UC Davis brings to campus writers exploring their Native American, African American, Sri Lankan and Hmong heritage, several producing socially and politically-connected work.
