Campus Location:Pavilion at the ARC
Location of Event:UC Davis Campus
Event Type:Conferences and Symposia, Forums, Discussions and Information Sessions, Health and Wellness, Student Organized Events

This conference is for community college students, university students and post-baccalaureate students interested in attending professional schools for health careers, and who want to know more about the admissions process. Prehealth advisors are welcome, too. Total attendance of 4,500 is expected. The program will begin at 8 a.m. with breakfast and a keynote address. Then comes the Pre-Health Fair, featuring hundreds of school representatives — including deans of admission, admission officers, financial aid officers, and faculty and staff — from across the country.
The program also includes workshops on various careers. Participants also can try their hand at suturing, among other hands-on activities, and go through practice interviews.

The conference is planned, coordinated and executed by a team of UC Davis undergraduates (pictured). See a larger version of this photo, with identifications, here.

Register here. (This conference is limited to people 18 and up; high school students are invited to attend the High School Pre-Health Symposium, April 15, 2018.)
