Research seminar with two representatives of UC Davis and the university’s Institute of Transportation Studies:

  • Amy Myers Jaffe (pictured, left), leading expert on global energy policy, geopolitical risk, and energy and sustainability (and an advisor on energy sustainability to the UC Office of the Chief Investment Officer)
  • Joan M. Ogden (pictured, right), professor of environmental science and founding director of Sustainable Transportation Energy Pathways
They will discuss their research project for the state, on what natural-gas infrastructure would be economically and technologically ideal for both natural gas in the near term and alternative fuels in the long term. Read the abstract here.
