Summer Brown Bag: Career Catalyst

LinkedIn, with more than 500 million users, has become an important and necessary tool for career development, job search and connecting to others in your field. Therefore, why not have a LinkedIn profile that is current and fresh, available for your colleagues and potential employers to see? This workshop will show you how to optimize your LinkedIn profile so that it puts your best foot forward and shows off your abilities and accomplishments. In addition, you will learn how to use LinkedIn as a job search tool — not only for postings, but to research the companies for which you may be interested in working, and find people and groups that could help you.

No preregistration.

Staff Development and Professional Services also is presenting two other Summer Brown Bags (see separate calendar listings):

  • Thursday, Aug. 17 — Cutting the Cable
  • Thursday, Sept. 7 — Bender Ball Exercise
