The 2017-18 Campus Community Book Project, featuring Janet Mock's Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More, invites you to "Not So Tiny Dancer: Thoughts Behind the Fat Flash Mob." The program features a talk by Juicy D. Light and a film screening, FatMob (2016, 15 minutes), directed by Julie Wyman, associate professor, UC Davis Department of Cinema and Digital Media.

Artist Lecture: Filmmaker Regan Brashear

The Functional Diversity Lecture Series presents filmmaker Regan Brashear, who will screen and discuss “Fixed.” The film addresses the ethical complexities of advances in robotic augmentation and bioengineering. Brashear will also discuss his current work-in-progress documentary film about CRISPR gene editing.
