Join Yolo County Master Gardeners, together with horticulture experts from the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden, for a morning packed with information about attracting pollinators to your gardens and enriching our environment.

Parking is free on campus on Sundays. Nearest locations: visitor lot 55 and  Putah Creek Lodge (PCL).

Health and Well-Being: Nature Rx

Come enjoy nature and learn some gardening skills. Create a minisucculent garden to keep on your desk or windowsill, and take home a plant division.

Three programs from noon to 1 p.m. on consecutive Thursdays:

  • Oct. 5 — Plant propagation (divisions), Arboretum Teaching Nursery
  • Oct. 12 — Planting, Mrak Hall Circle
  • Oct. 19 — Minisucculent gardens, Arboretum Teaching Nursery

Arboretum Plant Sale (Members: 9-11 | Public 11-1)

LIfe after Lawn: Shop from one of the area’s largest selections of attractive, low-water, easy-care, regionally-appropriate plants perfect for restoring your home’s habitat including lots of California natives and Arboretum All Stars.

From 9-11 a.m. we invite members of the Friends of the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden and members of the Davis Botanical Society to shop from the season’s best selection of plants and receive 10% off all their purchases; new members receive an additional $10 off as a thank you for joining.

From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. this sale is open to the public.

The event is free; parking is free and available in nearby visitor parking lot 55 and Putah Creek Lodge parking lot.
